‘Alma’ is a website for the original three day event during dia de los muertos (“day of the dead”) that caters towards the departed souls as they navigate this familiar event from a new perspective.
The site’s design elements derive from traditional imagery used during dia de los muertos alongside a warm and vibrant color palette to highlight the importance of the occasion. Throughout the design, faded textures indicate an almost dreamlike quality to the event as it relates to the ethereal plane.
